It also made a Hot Shot Debut at #24 on the Pop 100 the same week, and has climbed back up ahead to #10. It is Akon's seventh top ten hit as a lead artist, and his thirteenth top ten overall. "Right Now (Na Na Na)" debuted at #17 on the Billboard Hot 100 on the week October 2, fueled by high first week digital downloads of 93,000, it has currently climbed to the top ten peaking at #8.
The song originally featured Canadian/Portuguese artisit Danny Fernandes. An unofficial remix with Jayko titled "Right Now (Na Na Na) / Mañana (Na Na Na)" also exists. There is an official remix of Right Now (Na Na Na) featuring Kat DeLuna. A freestyle using the same set of music as Akon was produced by the rapper Young Dro and is called "Still Sellin (Drugs)".
